Why visit ACE ’25?
Aiming to meet the growing needs of aircraft operators in the Tampa Bay area, US FBO network Sheltair Aviation is breaking ground on its new hangar and office complex at the Tampa International airport. The $25 million facility is expected to be completed in the autumn of 2022, and will include over 77,000 sq ft of hangar space and an additional 32,000 sq ft of office space.
“At Sheltair, we make it a priority to invest in our communities continuously,” says Lisa Holland, president of Sheltair. “This new construction will add 150 temporary full time construction jobs locally and allow Sheltair to accommodate Tampa's growing business sector, supporting a vibrant region of commerce and culture. We're proud to serve as a hub for business and gateway to the Tampa region, aiding the vitality of the local economy.”
Sheltair's hangar and office complex will provide four hangars ranging from 14,562 to 33,269 sq ft, each with office spaces ranging from 5,700 to 14,247 sq ft. All four hangars feature a 28-foot door ensuring the accommodation of large-cabin class size aircraft up to the G650 or Global 7500.
Tenants of the facility will benefit from Sheltair's full service FBO on site. Its Tampa facility offers access to 24 hour US customs, executive board rooms and a convenient location.
