Chicago Jet Group, which offers charter flights, aircraft management, airframe and engine maintenance and avionics installation and upgrade services from its base at Aurora Municipal Airport in Illinois, says that its broad skillset has enabled it to enjoy a prosperous 2021. The company maintains aircraft management and charter services with a wide array of Part 25 aircraft, both Part 91 and Part 135. “We provide services which best serve our customer requests,” says general manager Mike Mitera. “But I will say that the Falcon 50 and 900B have been very popular with our customers.”

CJG's managed aircraft are equipped with NextGen WAAS/SBAS navigation capability and most are CPDLC capable for domestic and international data link communications. “We are recently experiencing more frequent overseas flights,” adds Mitera. “We are successfully weathering the pandemic because our long term business plan focuses on servicing our customer base, remaining flexible in a highly changing business climate and continuing our broad service capabilities.”

Chicago Jet Group hopes to remain on course through 2022. Its aggressive STC programmes are completed, offering NextGen ProLink CPDLC solutions for the Gulfstream G200 navigation upgrade and the Falcon 900B InSight Display and CPDLC navigation flight deck upgrades. “Our NextGen ProLink STC effort will be expanded in 2022 to include the Falcon 2000/2000EX CPDLC upgrades,” Mitera concludes.
