Helix expands its fleet of Russian helicopters
Four helicopters for Helix Airlines will be operated in the Urals and western Siberia, developing logistics support for enterprises in Russia's fuel and energy complex. The company's roster includes 10 Mi-8s and three Il-76s.
The document was signed by the deputy general director of Russian Helicopters for sales of civil helicopters Yuri Matsegor and the deputy general director for strategic development of Helix Aviation Vadim Baldin.

Helix Airlines has signed a contract with Russian Helicopters for four helicopters, comprising Mi-8MTV and Ansat models, and to start in 2022.

The document was signed by the deputy general director of Russian Helicopters for sales of civil helicopters Yuri Matsegor and the deputy general director for strategic development of Helix Aviation Vadim Baldin.

The supplied helicopters will be operated in the Urals and western Siberia, developing logistics support for enterprises in Russia's fuel and energy complex.

Helix Airlines is one of the oldest operators flying Russian helicopters. The company was registered in Perm in 1991. The fleet includes 10 Mi-8 helicopters and three Il-76 aircraft. The airline's helicopters provide SAR services in the Urals at Perm, Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk, perform excursion flights to the northern Urals at the Manpopuner plateau and Dyatlov pass, and provide logistical support to companies in the fuel and energy complex in western Siberia.
