Jettech, a developer of aftermarket aircraft solutions located at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan airport in Broomfield, Colorado, has announced the approval of an FAA STC for its Garmin G600 TXi installation on Cessna Citation Jet model 525 series aircraft with serial numbers 0001 through 0359.
The Jettech Garmin TXi avionics suite for CJs offers a flexible and scalable design solution and can be ordered with either a single or dual 10.6-inch flight display paired with dual GTN 650 Xi or 750 Xi touchscreen displays.
The CJ G600 TXi install is designed to integrate with the Garmin GFC 600 digital autopilot, which combines features such as Garmin ESP, under-speed and over-speed protection, automatic LVL mode, airspeed climb and decent (IAS) mode, flight director (FD) command cues and vertical navigation (VNAV) mode, which requires a GTN series navigator.
“The installation offers a number of new features including synthetic vision, LPV and envelope protection,” says Rob Irwin, founder and member/manager of Jettech. “Pilots will appreciate the intuitive touchscreen interface and seamless integration with the GTN Xi displays. The result is faster flight planning and chart rendering with single-finger zoom control and numerous options for PFD, MFD and EIS functions.”
Jettech has also added the following to its installation package: GSR 56 sat radio w/ antenna, GDR 66, Garmin USB ports, Shadin AIS-380 fuel flow, Bose headphone jacks and a pedestal mount Jupiter glove box.
The Jettech STC'd installation data packages are offered through approved Garmin authorised dealers. The company stands ready to support its customers through the installation process.
