Epic Aircraft has selected Fort Lauderdale-based Premier Aircraft Service as its authorised service centre for the southeast US region. “Premier's reputation for service excellence and its dedication to customer support are widely known throughout the region,” comments Epic CEO Doug King. “We are confident it will provide our customers with top-notch care and expert aircraft maintenance services.”

Epic Aircraft received FAA type certification for its E1000 model in November 2019. Powered by the Pratt & Whitney 1,200-horsepower PT6A-67A engine, the all-carbon fibre single-engine turboprop cruises at 333 kts, climbs at 4,000 ft per minute, operates up to 34,000 ft and offers a full fuel payload of 1,100 pounds. The next generation E1000 GX is equipped with the Garmin GFC 700 digital flight control system and Hartzell five-blade composite propeller.

Premier Aircraft Service, a division of Premier Aircraft Sales, is an FAA certified Part 145 repair station with extensive experience servicing the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engines, supporting Garmin avionics products and performing composite repairs. Premier will be authorised to provide inspection, maintenance and repair services from its Fort Lauderdale Executive airport-based location for the Epic E1000, the Epic E1000 GX, as well as the legacy experimental Epic LT.

Epic Aircraft offers an exceptional next-generation, high-performance turboprop, and we are extremely proud to be selected as its factory authorised service centre in the southeast region,” states Travis Peffer, Premier CEO. “Earning this authorisation is a true testimony to the exceptionally quality of work our talented team has provided our customers for nearly 20 years.”

Epic is finalising agreements with additional service centre partners to establish a nationwide service network, providing coverage spanning all US time zones and strategic geographies.
