First Wing brings in an Excel and a Bravo
First Wing Charter and Management has been operating private air charter out of Indianapolis for nearly 30 years. Its fleet keeps expanding, this time with a 1,680 nm Citation Excel and a 1,200 nm Citation Bravo.
The Bravo is well-suited to short trips with only a few passengers.

First Wing Charter and Management, an Indianapolis-based private air charter operator, recently added two new business jets to its fleet: a Citation Excel and a Citation Bravo. The company has experienced significant year-over-year increases in charter operations and plans to continue growing the fleet.

“We have been operating private air charter out of Indianapolis for nearly 30 years,” says general manager Andy Yergler. “Over the years, we've seen the demand for private air travel increase, especially in the past year due to the pandemic. People are realising the benefits of private air travel, from increasing efficiency in business travel to minimising the risk of COVID exposure. We are seeing more first-time charter fliers use charter for leisure, and we expect the momentum to continue.”

The Citation Excel is one of the top-selling midsize private jets on the market. It features a stand-up cabin, seating for eight passengers, wi-fi and inflight entertainment. The aircraft has a range of 1,680 nm and is good for trips to Colorado, the midwest and the east coast.

The Citation Bravo was added to the fleet to provide additional options to travellers seeking shorter trips with fewer passengers on board. The Bravo seats up to eight passengers and has a range of 1,200 nm.

The additional aircraft will supplement the First Wing Charter fleet, which is comprised of multiple Cessna Citations, including Sovereigns, Excels and Bravos.

First Wing has been operating incident and accident-free for more than two decades and carries an ARGUS Gold rating and Wyvern certification.
