Albinati Aeronautics has kicked off a year of celebration for its 20th anniversary from its global headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. For the last two decades, the company has been at the forefront of dedication and passion in the business aviation Industry, recognised for its service, personal attention and safety. The company has been operational since 2001 and has experienced consistent fleet growth every year since. This has allowed Albinati Aeronautics to maintain and consolidate its position as a key Swiss operator, even during these challenging times for the global aviation industry.

Albinati Aeronautics takes off in its 20th year with a fleet of 23 aircraft, now comprising three latest generation Global 7500.

In 2005, Albinati Aeronautics obtained a Swiss AOC and made its first steps as a commercial operator. The same year it established its CAMO department. Between 2009 and 2010, the company laid the foundations of its international expansion. In this period, Albinati became an IS-BAO, USA Visa Waiver Program and FAR Part 129 approved operator, thus increasing the company's commercial and operational flexibility.

In 2014 Albinati Aeronautics extended its range of services and continued its international expansion by obtaining a Maltese AOC through its sister company Albinati Aviation Ltd and by opening its Maltese office in St Julian's. The same year, the company obtained its CAT II approval, expanding its all-weather operations capabilities.

2015 was a successful year. Under its Maltese AOC, the company received four Bombardier Global aircraft under management (two Global 6000s, one Global 5000 Vision and one Global 5000) and thus strengthened its presence in the long haul segment.

In 2017 Albinati Aviation established a new office in Torino, Italy. By opening this third office, with facilities at Torino-Caselle airport, the company had the objective to support the operation of the three Italian-based aircraft in Turin and Milan as well as to develop its presence in this country by offering to the local industrial players its Swiss quality family office type of services for which the company is renowned.

In 2019 Albinati Aeronautics was awarded the ARGUS Platinum certification along with the renewal of its IS-BAO Stage II in July 2019. This certification is a worldwide highly recognised symbol of quality, safety and operational excellence and testifies once again the Swiss and Maltese AOC operator's commitment to exceeding the high standards set by governing bodies.

2020 has turned out to be a particularly challenging year with the COVID-19 pandemic, but Albinati took advantage of the increase in short haul flights by receiving a brand new Pilatus PC-24. The company also received three new Global 7500s. 20 years on the business aviation market have proven that Albinati Aeronautics is a confident player with experienced staff who have managed to preserve the initial sparkle of enthusiasm for flying.

“We would like to seize this opportunity to warmly thank our loyal customers, who renew their trust in our company year after year and whose interests, safety and satisfaction we will continue to place at the heart of our corporate strategy,” says CEO Stefano Albinati. “We also thank our reliable partners, who have been standing by our side to serve our customers at best. Finally, we thank our teams, as our success is built on their knowledge and know-how, their motivation and experience. We look forward to flying with you during this promising year.”
