Voyageur wins New Brunswick ambulance bid
Using a pair of King Air 200s out of Moncton, New Brunswick, Voyageur will fulfil a five-year air ambulance contract, with the option for a further five-year extension. The move comes into force in January next year.

Voyageur Aviation, headquartered in North Bay, Ontario and a subsidiary of Chorus Aviation, has been awarded a contract for the provision of fixed-wing air ambulance services for Ambulance New Brunswick. The contract is for a five-year term, with option to extend for an additional five years. Voyageur currently operates this service under an existing contract and will begin flying under the new deal from 1 January 2022.

“We are proud to deliver innovative solutions to customers with unique aviation requirements around the globe. This is a great example of our versatility to operate special missions,” says Voyageur president Scott Tapson.

The service will be operated by Voyageur Airways with two Beechcraft King Air 200s, based in Moncton, New Brunswick. Both aircraft will undergo interior upgrades and refurbishment by sister company Voyageur Aerotech to improve patient care and comfort.
