Sales head Cole outlines his Heli-One goals
Rob Cole started as an offshore helicopter pilot and then becoming a base manager for CHC Helicopter in 2012. In 2013 he transitioned into a variety of commercial roles. Heli-One has now snapped him up.

Helicopter MRO provider Heli-One, which has facilities in Canada, Norway and Poland, has appointed Rob Cole as head of sales. Cole will be based in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada and will work with the sales and business development team to further grow Heli-One's commercial opportunities worldwide.

Having more than 15 years of experience in the aviation sector, Cole started as an offshore helicopter pilot and then becoming a base manager for CHC Helicopter in 2012. In 2013 he transitioned into a variety of commercial roles including sales, business development and account management with a focus on long-term strategic growth. Prior to joining Heli-One, he was VP of business development for PHI International.

“I am excited to rejoin the Heli-One/CHC Helicopter family in this role,” says Cole. “It is great to be working with familiar faces again as well as some new ones. I aim to use my flying and commercial experience to position Heli-One as the global MRO of choice. I am eager to work with the team to develop new solutions that meet the real needs of our customers in the current environment while growing the Heli-One business.”

“Rob brings to Heli-One a great combination of operational and commercial skills,” adds Carolyn Forsyth, general manager sales, commercial and customer support. “He has developed wide commercial experience in the industry and brings back to the team a wealth of knowledge and perspective which will directly benefit our customers.”
