Why visit ACE ’25?
GHS, a German provider of commercial helicopter services for humanitarian aid organisations, government and the oil and gas and mining industries, has reached another milestone in the ongoing development of its new premises in Kirchanschöring in southern Germany. The recent EASA approval by the German civil aviation authority, Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) of its Part 145 base maintenance facilities allows the company to now offer flexible maintenance options that are focussed on controlling costs while keeping aircraft flying.
“We already had a Part 145 certificate, but for line maintenance in our areas of operation only,” says Ursula Pöcklhofer, marketing and sales at GHS. “With the move into our new premises in Kirchanschöring in Bavaria earlier this year we are now EASA Part 145 certified for base maintenance and are ready to offer third party maintenance services in our own hangar and storage capacities.”
A team of GHS technicians provides base maintenance services to local and international customers as well as third party maintenance for Bell 412 and EC225 helicopters. Its Part 145 maintenance options include return to service (RTS), single scheduled maintenance events, modifications and implementation of STCs, base and line maintenance within EASA CAMO regulations, avionic inspections and reviews, special tool rental, hangarage, short and long-term storage, and spare part sourcing and supply chain management.
