BAN's World Gazetteer
KansasSignature TechnicAir, the MRO division of Signature Flight Support, has been named as a Textron Aviation authorised service facility (ASF) for Cessna Citation and Hawker business jets, enabling it to draw on more than 40 years of experience maintaining Cessna Citation jet products from its Bournemouth, UK service centre. Textron is re-engaging with third party ASF arrangements; two years ago it did not renew Bournemouth as an authorised facility. Hawker products are being added to the approvals.
TechnicAir holds multiple airworthiness approvals including EASA Part 145, EASA Part M and FAA Part 145 repair station certifications, providing Citation and Hawker jet operators with comprehensive line and heavy maintenance services, avionics upgrades, aircraft modifications, and mobile AOG support capabilities throughout the UK and mainland Europe.
In addition to its primary maintenance facility at Bournemouth airport, TechnicAir has established a network of line stations and mobile service unit teams based out of several UK airports, including London Luton, London Biggin Hill, Farnborough and Manchester. Staffed by skilled engineers, these locations provide seven-day a week line maintenance and AOG response services for many business aviation aircraft types in the region.
“We are delighted to be named as an authorised service facility by Textron Aviation for their Cessna Citation and Hawker jet products,” comments Andy Preston, MD of Signature TechnicAir EMEA. “Our company has a long history of working on the Cessna Citation range of products, during which time we have developed a very strong reputation for delivering reputable and flexible aircraft maintenance services in the UK and European markets. I am confident that our team's extensive experience and knowledge of the Citation products, together with our investments in growing our service capabilities, will prove to be a valuable addition to the authorised Textron Aviation support network in region.”
