Hathaway takes Columbia TBM programme to market
Paul Hathaway is an FAA-licensed commercial multi-engine pilot with 1,000 hours flight experience in the TBM very fast turboprop. He purchased a TBM from Columbia in 2014 and has now become part of the company.
Paul Hathaway is an experienced pilot who also holds powerplant maintenance and rotorcraft licenses.

The Columbia group of aviation companies has appointed Paul Hathaway as director of marketing. He will work closely with Ken Dono and Clay Hammond to continue the growth of the company's sales portfolio, in particular the Daher TBM turboprop sales programme operated by Columbia Aircraft Sales, an exclusive authorised sales agent for TBMs.

“It's a testament to our business culture that one of our customers would want to join the Columbia team,” says co-founder Art Maurice. “We've had a great relationship with Paul since he acquired his TBM from us in 2014, and we're thrilled to have him on board. As an experienced owner he brings a different perspective to our sales and marketing group. In this, our 40th year in business, and even in a difficult economy, Columbia continues to invest in talent and our TBM programme in order to serve our customers better.”

“My aircraft ownership journey has taught me that the experience of having a personal airplane is defined not only by the quality of the product, but also by the quality of the organisation that helps you operate it,” adds Hathaway. “In the six years that I have owned my TBM, I've not only gained an appreciation for what a remarkable airplane the TBM is, but also just how important it is to be partnered with a world-class sales, support and maintenance organisation. Columbia has made owning my aircraft a pleasure and I am excited to now be part of its team.”
