CAMO specialist Hughes arrives at Excellence
Steve Hughes joins Inflite's Excellence subsidiary from Luxaviation, where he was CAMO general manager. Steve has a track record in planning and implementation of quality-based management solutions.
Steve Hughes has joined Excellence from Luxaviation.

Inflite the Jet Centre has appointed Steve Hughes as general manager and CAMO of its Excellence Aviation Services Limited and Excellence Aviation Limited subsidiaries.

He brings a wealth of experience to his new role, providing leadership for the effective management of the Excellence Aviation businesses in delivering reliable, quality, services to its customers. Steve will work with the Excellence Aviation business, the Bombardier MRO specialist acquired by Inflite in February 2019, to further develop the business.

Hughes joins Excellence from Luxaviation, where he was CAMO general manager and UK CAA nominated post holder. Steve has a proven track record in the planning and implementation of quality-based management solutions, with over 35 years in the aviation maintenance sector.

“Steve is a terrific addition to the first-class Excellence team and will further enhance our ability to deliver the highest standards of service. The newly formalised acquisition of the Excellence Aviation businesses is a major catalyst for growth at our 31-year old company, and it will enable us to support increasing local demand for Bombardier support from our visiting FBO customers and other third party organisations. With our extensive MRO base capabilities on the horizon we will be perfectly positioned in the south east UK to serve our global customer base,” Inflite the Jet Centre's managing director Penny Stephens comments.
