Rohit Kapur joins JetHQ as president in Asia after serving as founding partner at Arrow Aircraft. Rebecca Johnson, now president of JetHQ EMEA, acted as JetHQ's vp of sales prior to her promotion.
Kani Saritas has joined in Dubai.

JetHQ has added a veteran aircraft sales director to its team. The Kansas City-headquartered aircraft transaction and brokerage company has announces that Kani Saritas has joined its Dubai office as VP of sales.

Saritas, with 15 years of aviation experience, will serve clients in the Middle East and Africa. He comes to JetHQ after serving as Jet Aviation's senior director, regional sales, where he helped increased market share by double digits and closed multi-million dollar MRO deals.

“Kani's proactive approach to aviation sales and marketplace trends has served his clients well,” says JetHQ founder and managing director Garett Jerde. “He shares their entrepreneurial mindset and brings strong analytical acumen to the table, adding value to transactions and creating long-term business relationships.”

Overseeing MRO and fixed-base operator (FBO) sales for Jet Aviation's markets in the Middle East, India and Turkey, Saritas led a production site revenue increase of 40 per cent, adding to the customer base and implementing more efficient quotation tools. He served five years as regional director of sales for Lufthansa Technik and has also worked for Eurospace GmbH in his native Germany. He specialised in aerospace engineering at the University of Stuttgart.

Saritas will work under Rebecca Johnson, president of JetHQ EMEA, who was promoted to lead of that division. He joins Rohit Kapur, president of JetHQ Asia, as a recent addition to the company's international team.

Kapur joins the company as president of JetHQ Asia after serving as founding partner at Arrow Aircraft. Rebecca Johnson, now president of JetHQ EMEA, acted as JetHQ's vice president of sales prior to her promotion.

“Rohit and Rebecca epitomise the high level of aviation experience our team possesses,” says JetHQ founder and managing director Garett Jerde. “They have such great insights gained from hundreds of transactions and thousands of flight hours to identify and meet our customers' needs. Their global knowledge and expertise made them the natural choices to lead these prominent sales divisions.”

After flying helicopters for almost 20 years in the Indian Army, Rohit Kapur began his civil aviation career in 2003. He has served in numerous leadership roles within business aviation, including as CEO for Indocopters Private Limited where he supporting Airbus Helicopters sales before founding Arrow Aircraft in 2010. He was responsible for that company's vertical handling of Gulfstream, HondaJet and Beechcraft sales. He's an alumnus of the Harvard Business School and contributed to the founding of the Business Aircraft Operators Association (BAOA) in India. He will be based in India.

A graduate of San Jose State University, Rebecca Johnson has piloted since she was a teenager and has managed European aircraft transactions for the past 15 years. She served as Hawker Beechcraft pilot, demonstrating aircraft all over the world, before embarking as a corporate pilot who flew VIPs and business leaders to their global destinations. She led Gulfstream's sales territory in southern Europe before joining JetHQ, operating out of Switzerland.

The position creations follow JetHQ's recent team expansion and company repatriation to the United States. JetHQ also became a member of the elite International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) at the end of 2019.
