GJC pays tribute to problem-solver Fox
Robert Fox logged 25 years with Piedmont Hawthorne Aviation, working his way up to director of aircraft services. The industry is paying tribute to his many years of service.

Global Jet Capital has joined the business aviation community in grieving the loss of colleague and friend, Robert 'Bob' Fox, Jr.

Fox had worked as aircraft maintenance manager at Global Jet Capital for the past three years and had deep roots in the aviation industry that go back to 1978 when he began working at Piedmont Aviation.

“Bob will be deeply missed, and not just for his dedication, leadership and keen problem solving abilities, but for his sincere kindness, willingness to help and love for his family and friends,” comments Shawn Vick, CEO at Global Jet Capital. “Our paths crossed more than 15 years ago, and I have many fond memories of Bob. All of us at Global Jet Capital admired Bob's passion for this aviation industry and send sincere condolences to his family.”

As an aviation maintenance technology graduate with an Airframe & Powerplant licence from Spartan School of Aeronautics, Fox began his career with Piedmont Aviation. Later Piedmont became Piedmont Hawthorne Aviation, where he logged 25 years, working his way up to director of aircraft services. Subsequently, the company became Landmark Aviation, and Bob remained the director of maintenance with Landmark for the following eight years. In 2015, Bob started Fox Aviation Resources, LLC where he consulted and specialised in project management before joining Global Jet Capital in 2017.
