Harrods hosts table football ahead of Euro 2020
In Euro style, a set of group stages was followed by a knock out tournament of table football at Harrods Stansted. A close final match was held between teams from Hunt and Palmer and Airbus Helicopters UK.
A tight defence and clinical shooting were the keys to success at the Harrods table football tournament.

Harrods Aviation held a table football tournament last month to promote its abilities to host visiting aircraft for Euro 2020, the summer's major football tournament.

The London Stansted FBO business lounge was the location for over 20 teams from across the business aviation industry to compete for the top prize of four tickets to see the England football team take on Italy at Wembley Stadium.

In true Euro style, an exciting set of group stages followed by a knock out tournament culminated in a close final match between teams from Hunt and Palmer and Airbus Helicopters UK, with Sebastian Pupek and Ben James from Airbus being the eventual victors with a very close score of 20 to 19.

Competitors were fuelled by an array of pub themed snacks courtesy of On Air Dining.

“We were very excited to host this event, and were pleased to see so many guests attend on the night,” comments Will Holroyd, sales and marketing director. “We are well placed to handle large aircraft, and have made significant investments in time saving equipment and services, perfect for large passenger volumes. We can also provide through our sister company, Air Harrods, rotary and fixed wing charter solutions. It was wonderful for us to host such a relaxed and informal evening; the feedback from those attending has been wonderful, especially that praising the volunteer team who helped on the night.”
