Legacy 500 gains stripes and fades at RUAG
In a first for the company, RUAG was contracted to repaint a Legacy 500. Having worked on the restyling with the customer, the company then completed the stripes and fade design and delivered the aircraft on time.
The Legacy 500 underwent an update and restyle of its livery with RUAG.

RUAG MRO International has completed the full repainting of an Embraer Legacy 500 aircraft at its aircraft painting facilities at Munich-Oberpfaffenhofen. An Embraer authorised service centre since 2013, RUAG delivered the aircraft on time and to full customer satisfaction.

RUAG's in-house painting specialists worked together with the customer to update and restyle the aircraft's livery. The repainting process began by stripping the aircraft of its previous paint layers to achieve optimal coating quality and durable skin protection. The owner's personalised design featured multiple dynamic stripes on the fuselage and tail in bold-to-fading shades of black and gray.

“This is our first Legacy 500 exterior,” says sales manager exterior services Reinhard Imhoff. “Our highly experienced team has developed a well-deserved reputation for reliability and excellence in aircraft painting and we welcome all aircraft types.”
