Sheltair Aviation appoints new president
Keeping it in the family, founder and CEO Jerry Holland entrusts the future of Sheltair to his daughter Lisa. She is appointed president.
Gerald Holland says management has worked collaboratively to capitalise on the best and brightest thinking from inside its own ranks.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida-headquartered Sheltair Aviation CEO and founder Gerald M Holland has appointed his daughter, Lisa, to the position of president.

For the past two years she has been actively involved in meeting the team and learning all facets of the company, including operation procedures, real estate holdings and finances, and was made president of corporate strategies back in October 2019.

Lisa Holland will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business and help the company to build upon the foundation created by her father, who will remain as chairman and CEO and continue to be actively involved in management.

The transition is part of a well thought out succession plan to continue the growth of the business and to retain the company under family management. “My life's desire is for Sheltair to remain a vibrant and successful family business. I feel confident that we have a well-planned succession strategy in place that will benefit everyone. I am sure that Lisa will manage and grow the company to retain our industry reputation as the largest privately held and well-respected FBO and aviation real estate company in the industry,” says Holland.
