Skyservice buys Muskoka maintenance base
As an ASF in Canada for many OEMs including Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault/Falcon and HondaJet, Skyservice performs maintenance and warranty services. The district of Muskoka is pleased to welcome the team.

Canada's Skyservice Business Aviation has purchased the Muskoka Aircraft Center hangar facility and approved maintenance organisation in Gravenhurst, Ontario. The 60,000 sq ft hangar provides MRO services, complementing Skyservice’s current offerings in Toronto, Montreal and Calgary. The new facility serves as an AMO and focuses on providing customers with maintenance services on regional, commercial and corporate aircraft.

“With over 35 years of expertise in maintenance services, our highly skilled team is looking forward to delivering a world class customer experience in the Muskoka area,” says Skyservice president and CEO Emlyn David. “The Muskoka location is a one-stop shop for all aircraft needs, with safety and service excellence at the forefront.”

“I am so pleased that a world class industry leader such as Skyservice has landed a home here at the Muskoka airport,” adds District of Muskoka chair John Klinck. “We are flattered that Skyservice has selected our community. Our airport board of directors, council and staff look forward to working with the management team at Skyservice to facilitate a smooth transition and leverage further aviation-related employment opportunities here.”

As an ASF in Canada for many OEMs including Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault/Falcon and HondaJet, Skyservice performs maintenance and warranty services through its maintenance group for its own managed aircraft as well as for other fleets.
