Signature Select extends network in northern Italy
Venice Marco Polo's SAVE SpA FBO has become the tenth Signature branded facility in Italy. The Signature Select network also now has a new director in the form of Ben Johnson.
EPIC Fuels has welcomed Owen Busch as svp sales, he having previously served as vp at World Fuel Services.

SAVE SpA has added its FBO facility at Venice Marco Polo airport to the Signature Select licensing programme, bringing Signature's Italian presence to a total of 10 locations. The FBO enables the provision of exclusive use facilities to visiting flight crews and travellers, and offers an array of fully owned and operated ground handling services, including in-house aircraft fueling via SAVE's own fuel trucks.

“The new agreement with SAVE SpA highlights the advantages of Signature Select in Europe,” comments SFS CEO Mark Johnstone. “We anticipate significant upcoming growth from our Signature Select programme and look forward to extending the benefits of our global sales, service and marketing programmes to our licensed partners.”

Meanwhile, Signature Flight Support has appointed former World Fuel Services VP Owen Busch as senior vice president of sales for EPIC Fuels and Houston-based SFS Ellington airport general manager Ben Johnson as director, Signature Select. Both men are responsible for extending the benefits of the company's global reach to independently owned and operated FBOs through the two distinct brand platforms. Independent FBO owners can now choose a brand and programme customised to their business's needs, from the turn-key equipment, transaction and marketing support offered by the EPIC Fuels brand or, by becoming branded a Signature Select location, expanded integration in the global network that includes its proprietary point-of-sale software and loyalty offerings.

“The combination of our trusted EPIC Fuels FBO presence with the Signature Select brand enables FBO owners to grow in a way that best fits their current business needs and future aspirations,” says EPIC Fuels and Signature Select president Kevin Cox. “Whether utilising EPIC's long-standing expertise in fuel supply and aviation operational infrastructure, or tapping into the resources and commercial programmes of Signature Flight Support to access additional customers and unlock new value for their business, the combination undoubtedly has the right platform to fit the unique needs of any independent FBO.”

Busch says: “Both programmes have earned a trusted reputation for delivering value and growth to independent FBOs. With EPIC we're focused on refining and strengthening the core branded FBO offering. For Signature Select, we look forward to offering further enhancements in technology, customer service and marketing that fully leverage the benefits of our affiliation with Signature Flight Support.”
