StandardAero Component Services is celebrating the grand opening of its expanded 30,000 sq ft Hillsboro, Ohio engine component manufacturing and repair facility.
The working space and capital improvements included the building and additional equipment to support aerospace engine low pressure turbine vane manufacturing, with room to grow further.
Kerry O'Sullivan, chief operating officer of StandardAero, and Rick Stine, president of StandardAero Components, Helicopters and Accessories, joined Mark Greene, VP and general manager of the company's Hillsboro facility, his leadership team and employees to mark the opening.
“We are very pleased to complete this expansion to create the additional capacity that is necessary to meet our growing customer demands for engine component manufacturing and component repairs,” says Greene. “Our dedicated employees have set the standards for quality and delivery. This expansion is a direct result of their commitment to excellence.”
The Hillsboro location expansion completes StandardAero's current plans for new building and expansion investments, which have also occurred at its Cincinnati, Miami and Kansas City locations over the last 18 months.
