L.J. Aviation has opened a new base at Pittsburgh International airport. The facility includes a reception area, private offices, a lounge and meeting rooms as well as 36,000 sq ft of hangar area and shop space. The hangar has 42 ft doors and will accommodate business aircraft up to the size of a Boeing Business Jet or Airbus Corporate Jet.

“As a part of our commitment to offering an exceptional customer experience, we are delighted to offer our customers expanded support, more resources and increased flexibility,” comments founder and CEO Ed Kilkeary Sr. The location provides L.J. Aviation customers with a wide range of services including passenger and baggage handling, immigration and customs clearance, transportation, hotel, and catering coordination, line maintenance and aircraft refuelling.

“This new location provides room for continued growth of our aircraft management services, aircraft charter operations and our OnFlight charter membership programme,” adds president and COO Ed Kilkeary Jr. “It allows our customers the convenience of basing their aircraft at a world class international airport. At the same time, the proximity of the new facility to our headquarters in Latrobe ensures that L.J. can immediately provide the same high level of customer service our clients have grown to expect.”

L.J. Aviation is headquartered at its FBO facility at Arnold Palmer airport in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Its expanding list of satellite bases includes operations and offices in Bedford, Massachusetts; Marshfield, Wisconsin; Rochester, New York; Pontiac, Michigan; and at Greater Pittsburgh International. Founded in 1980, the company currently manages and operates a fleet of over forty aircraft ranging in size from the Boeing Business Jet and Global 5000 to smaller Cessna, Bombardier and Beechcraft products.
