Gazpromneft offers refuelling at Saratov
Gagarin airport in Saratov has lofty ambitions, with current capacity to serve one million passengers a year and the potential to serve 2.5 million. Gazpromneft-Aero will be refuelling there, in line with IATA standards.
Gagarin has become the 60th airport in Gazpromneft-Aero's Russian network.

Gazpromneft-Aero, the aviation fuel business operator of Gazpromneft, has begun providing 'wing-tip' refuelling services to regular flights at the new Gagarin International airport in the Russian city of Saratov. The company's production facilities allow for the regular refuelling of fights in accordance with IATA international standards and it has received all the required licenses and permits for operation.

The new Gagarin International airport was developed in accordance with IATA standards and can accommodate modern medium-range and long-range aircraft, significantly expanding the capabilities of operators scheduling flights to Saratov. Today, Gagarin airport receives flights from Aeroflot, S7, Pegas Fly, Rusline, UTair airlines flying to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Surgut and other cities. The capacity of the new airport is one million passengers per year and has the potential to increase up to 2.5 million passengers.

Gazpromneft-Aero CEO Vladimir Yegorov comments: “Gagarin has become the 60th airport in the Gazpromneft-Aero refuelling network in Russia and the 280th in the company's global network. We pride ourselves in providing our Russian and international airline clients with the same level of technical support and service at all airports, regardless of their location, which is fully compliant with the domestic and international standards for fuel storage and aircraft refuelling.”
