Partnership puts top coat on small aircraft
Owners and operators of Cirrus and Eclipse models can now get an Aerocoat finish for their aircraft thanks to a collaboration with Guernsey's ASG and Cavendish.
Cavendish PR & business development manager Matt Phillips.

Aircraft Servicing (Guernsey) (ASG) has teamed up with Cavendish Aviation and Aerocoat International to offer its clients a nano technology surface application for aircraft.

From its base in Guernsey, and with Cirrus and Eclipse authorised service centre status, ASG provides engineering services to owners and operators of these aircraft types, as well as many other models of turboprop, light jet and GA aircraft across Europe.
Both Aerocoat International and Cavendish Aviation are located close to London Stansted airport and are headed up by managing director Steve Allen, whose background includes 20 years working within British Aerospace.
Cavendish Aviation holds CAA Part M, Subpart F, Subpart G certifications and is the nano technology applicator working on behalf of Aerocoat International.
The Aerocoat process guarantees immense ramp presence 24/7, restoring and retaining aircraft paintwork to the original factory appearance with a glass like finish that repairs UV damage and locks down the surface against corrosion and excessive weather. Aerocoat also rapidly reduces boundary layer drag, fuel burn, carbon emissions and cleaning costs for owners.
Cavendish and Aerocoat International have worked on almost 70 aircraft to date across the UK, USA and Europe, and are the official surface engineering partners for GlobeAir in Austria.
Cavendish public relations & business development manager Matt Phillips comments: “Some of our previous clients are located in Guernsey so we're well aware of ASG's excellent reputation within aviation. We've also applied Aerocoat for several SR-22 owners on both sides of the Atlantic with fantastic results, so it's great to see Cirrus play such a big part within the ASG business model.
“It goes without saying that we're really looking forward to bringing our expertise to Guernsey airport and adding even further value to the ASG client base across the Channel Islands and Europe.”

ASG CEO Steve Page adds: “We're continuously looking for ways to enhance our offering to customers and we are very pleased to have established this relationship with Cavendish Aviation and Aerocoat International. The Aerocoat process is the perfect addition and demonstrates our commitment to delivering great service to turboprop, light jet and GA owners and operators.”
