West Star completes more Global Express inspections
Maintenance provider West Star Aviation is seeing a surge in large cabin inspections, particularly for Bombardier aircraft. It has been gearing up for some time with new hangarage and an expanded team of technicians.

West Star Aviation will be completing four 120-month Global Express inspections at its East Alton location in the first half of 2019. The St Louis Regional airport base recently added new hangar space as well as highly experienced technicians to complete each detail of the process.

“We have seen an increased number of inspection requests for Bombardier and Global airframes over previous years,” says West Star Aviation general manager Scott Sweeney. “And with more than half of the year still remaining, we are positioned well to accommodate several more heavy maintenance events.”

In addition to all major inspections and repairs, including 120 and 240-month inspections, West Star offers complete one-stop service for Global, Global 5000, Global Express and Global XRS models as well as being a factory authorised service provider for Rolls Royce BR710 engines and Honeywell RE220 APUs. Complete avionics repair and installations, along with exterior paint and interior refurbishments, round out the full-service Bombardier Global offerings.
