OJets, a privately-owned provider of comprehensive business aviation services, is extending its partnership with Elit'Avia, a fully-integrated provider of business aircraft charter, management and operations services.

OJets is headquartered in Singapore with a fleet of Bombardier Globals and a Challenger 650. Additional Global 6000s will be added under Elit'Avia's Maltese AOC by the end of the month. Elit'Avia is headquartered in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The company holds AOCs in Slovenia, Malta and San Marino, and manages a mixed fleet of 25 midsize to long range business aircraft for charter and private use.

From its operations centre at Singapore's Seletar airport, OJets is now supporting Elit'Avia clients, both aircraft owners and charter passengers. Both companies are actively promoting OJets' luxury charter services worldwide, from sales offices including Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok, which have been in operation since July 2018.

“As a part owner of the company, we enjoy an exceptionally close working relationship with Elit'Avia,” says OJets chairman Phil Mulacek. “The further integration of our two companies efficiently draws on complementary areas of expertise and geographical specialisation. For example, leveraging the benefits of our indirect air carrier model, our aircraft operate under Elit'Avia's Maltese AOC. By working together, we are a stronger team able to provide clients with a more comprehensive service and global reach.”

Elit'Avia CEO Michel Coulomb adds: “Working with OJets is a perfect fit for us. Our partners offer a charter fleet of long range luxury business aircraft, with a focus on the Asian market. Whereas we specialise in aircraft management and have deep roots in Europe, Russia and Africa.

“At present, we are managing a half-dozen aircraft based in Asia. We expect that number to grow as we continue our business development efforts in the region with the support of the OJets team. The merging of our companies' complementary skillsets and territorial expertise allows us to present a very compelling proposition to the global business aviation market.”

Honeywell has also extended its agreement with OJets, to provide inflight connectivity services for its global fleet of business aircraft. This follows a contract in 2018 to supply OJets with connected aircraft solutions which include Inmarsat Swift Broadband, Jet ConneX, ViaSat Ku Band and Iridium for its fleet as well as flight services for selected aircraft.

“This agreement continues our strong working relationship with Honeywell and will further assist us in achieving our collective goal of providing passengers with tailored and enhanced flight experiences, in addition to heightened safety and efficiency,” says OJets senior EVP Philippe Crevier. “We've found that Honeywell's connected aircraft solutions are among the best offerings on the market and are well-suited for us to provide our customers and pilots with superior onboard connectivity and services.”

Honeywell JetWave allows business aircraft to connect to Inmarsat's Jet ConneX global high-speed connectivity network. Jet ConneX is the first consistently high-speed, global connectivity service for the business aviation market to span the world, and is currently the fastest.

“In the Asia Pacific region, 24/7 accessibility to a consistent and reliable internet connection has come to be expected, anytime and anywhere,” explains Honeywell's leader for business and general aviation in Asia Pacific Amit Kaul. “As such, consumers need nothing but the best in-flight Wi-Fi connectivity for their business jets.. This agreement with OJets not only reinforces Honeywell's capabilities for connected aircraft services within the business aviation market, but also affirms our position as a premier technology provider for business jet operators.”
