Experienced Barré heads maintenance for TAG at Farnborough
TAG Aviation Group's facilities at Farnborough, Le Bourget, Geneva, Sion and Cascais airports are now part of Dassault's service centre network. Thierry Barré comes on board at Farnborough to promote growth.
Thierry Barré is managing director of TAG Aviation Maintenance Services at Farnborough airport.

Following the recent acquisition of TAG Aviation's European MRO businesses by Dassault Aviation, TAG Maintenance Services has appointed Thierry Barré as managing director. He will be based at TAG's primary Farnborough airport UK location.

Barré was previously technical director of European MRO company ABS Jets and brings extensive customer relations expertise and strong MRO experience to the position.

“Mr Barré's background and expertise are a welcome asset to TAG Aviation Maintenance Services and will enable us to continue advancing our Farnborough site in line with our growth strategy, centred on further developing the provision of our customer relations services,” says TAG Aviation Europe VP maintenance operations Cyrille Pillet.

Pillet, who was the previous MD of Farnborough Maintenance Services, will now focus his attention on the base maintenance service operations for TAG Aviation at group level, and will now be responsible for overseeing operations at the two main centres of Farnborough and Geneva.

TAG Aviation operates a network of line and base maintenance service stations across Europe to support Dassault and Bombardier operators.
