Florida Falcons served by DAS satellite
DAS has moved its West Palm Beach service centre to Stuart, Florida. This new 53-acre facility has more than 15 acres of lighted and secured ramp space and hangar space available for anything up to an 8X.

Dassault Aircraft Services (DAS) has celebrated the grand opening of a new satellite service centre at Witham Field in Stuart, Florida following its relocation from West Palm Beach in order to better meet the needs of locally based operators and transient aircraft in the area.

“When our customers expressed a desire for an expansion of capacity and services in southern Florida, we listened,” says SVP, worldwide service network Geoff Chick. “Our move to Stuart will ensure a larger work space and allow us to offer a variety of additional benefits to Falcon operators. While maintaining the same great team of professionals dedicated to Falcon maintenance and upgrade needs, we will be increasing staffing levels to accommodate these enhanced capabilities.”

The 25,000 sq ft space is housed in Stuart Jet Center's FBO facility and offers twice the hangar capacity and more back-shop and customer office areas than the West Palm Beach facility. It provides customers with a 24/7 full-service FBO offering in addition to new amenities such as rental cars, high-speed wi-fi, a coffee bar and meeting rooms, while Witham Field airport, unlike West Palm Beach, is subject to minimal Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs). As an added bonus, the Stuart area offers a range of oceanfront resort hotels, golf courses and dining and entertainment options.

DAS' network of satellite facilities support Falcon aircraft with a variety of aftermarket services. The Stuart service centre is authorised to perform up to the 36 month check on the Falcon 50, 2000 and 900 families of aircraft as well as the Falcon 7X and 8X, and houses $1.5m worth of tooling, equipment and genuine Falcon spare parts. A Falcon GoTeam is also available to provide a rapid mobile response to aircraft impacted by an AOG.
