Isle of Man-based professional services provider Equiom has appointed Graeme Shanks as senior manager within the aviation team. The appointment comes as Equiom bolsters its aviation offering, gearing up for a busy year of events such as EBACE in May.

Shanks will be responsible for business development in respect of the company's aviation services. Through attendance at key events throughout the year, he will engage with clients and contacts while developing new relationships with prospective customers and industry partners worldwide.

With more than 14 years' experience, he has worked in senior positions at Global Jet Capital, CIT and AMS Aircraft. He has particular expertise in the finance and leasing of business jets for ultra high net worth individuals and corporate owners across the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia. During this time he has built an extensive contact network that spans the global aircraft finance and legal communities, lessors, aircraft manufacturers, airlines, family offices and a host of other aviation service providers and advisors.
