Maldivian integrates entire fleet with eMRO solution
Trax eMRO maintenance management software is accessible via the cloud and designed to lower costs and improve efficiency. Maldivian uses the software for its Airbus fleet and its Twin Otters are following suit.
Read this story in our March 2019 printed issue.

Maldivian, the national operator in the Maldives, has adopted Trax eMRO maintenance management software for its fleet of DHC-8 and DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft. A division of Island Aviation Services (IASL), Maldivian flies international and inter-island routes to 22 destinations as well as charter flights, special medical evacuation flights and freighter missions.

The company sought out eMRO as an ERP solution that is accessible via the cloud. The software is a device-agnostic application designed to cater to every aspect of aircraft maintenance management. Deployed using any web browser, the product enables users to stay connected from any work location. The numerous system modules of eMRO cover technical, maintenance, materials, financial and quality management to help reduce downtime, provide access to real-time data, and ensure regulatory compliance.

In 2018, Maldivian implemented eMRO as its maintenance solution with the introduction of its Airbus fleet into the system. With its recent induction of the Bombardier DHC-8/DHC-6 aircraft, it has now integrated its entire fleet. Implementing the technology is expected to lower costs, improve efficiency and facilitate future growth.
