Lighting experts' veteran takes the helm
Founded in 1963 by Hungarian immigrant Miklos Lorik, Wichita, Kansas-based PWI now has a range of aircraft lighting products. It is declaring itself ready for accelerated growth with the appointment of Robi Lorik as CEO.
Newly appointed CEO Robi Lorik is setting the course for the aviation future of PWI.

Technology company PWI's board of directors has appointed Robi Lorik to the position of chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Lorik has been with PWI for 43 years and declares himself ready to take the company to the next level. Having an ability to inspire, energise and connect with employees, partners, customers and leaders, the company adds that his vision, strategy and execution is exactly what it needs to meet planned product innovation and growth.

Canadian independent aircraft parts and supplies distributor Kadex Aero Supply vice president of data quality assessment Ken Blow says of his industry colleague: “We are thrilled to hear that Robi has accepted the position of CEO/president. He is a champion of family values and shows a commitment to the customer that is becoming harder and harder to find in today's big corporate environment. It's almost impossible to do business with Robi and not become his friend. PWI is in good hands.”

Since starting business in 1963, PWI has grown from coil winding to a diverse range of aircraft lighting products and more. The company manufactures several interior lights for Beechcraft King Air aircraft and has in-house ability to design, engineer and manufacture all types of electrical assemblies, electronics contract manufacturing, magnetometers and customised LED lighting solutions.
