IBAC says that Signature locations are performing molto bene
Several Signature locations in the UK, Ireland, Panama and France have already passed the stringent requirements for IS-BAH, and in a first in Italy, its facilities in Milan, Rome and Venice have done the same.

Signature Flight Support's locations in Italy have become the first in the country to earn International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) certification, the accreditation and global standard for best business aviation safety practices. Milan-Linate, Milan-Malpensa, Rome Ciampino and Venice all passed the stringent, week-long safety management audit following an external assessment by a team of IBAC-accredited auditors.

“We look forward to bringing more of our European locations through the accreditation process,” comments MD for EMEA Evie Freeman. “Safety is our core value and lived by every one of our employees. The audits took several days to complete, but several months of preparation had taken place before that by our dedicated safety team and the FBO management team for each site.”

IBAC programme director Terry Yeomans adds: “Congratulations to the entire Signature Flight Support Italy team for achieving IS-BAH certification. We all commend Signature for this accomplishment and recognise its dedication to a safety culture that embraces global industry best practices for business aviation ground handlers.”

Signature's locations at London Luton airport, Nice, London Biggin Hill, Panama City, Dublin and Shannon are also IS-BAH accredited, and it is planning to add further accreditations to its global FBO network.
