Hong Kong-headquartered private jet charter consultancy Apertus Aviation has appointed Jessica Du as chief China representative. She will help to develop and manage the company’s vendors, operations and business strategy in greater China with a view to creating high quality and consistent service for its global clients.

Du previously worked at Rockwell Collins in China where she was one of first in the region to coordinate protocols between the Civil Aviation Administration of China and private jet operators entering the region. She subsequently joined Chapman Freeborn before moving to Zetta Jet as China representative in 2016.

Du says of her appointment: “We have a tremendous opportunity to grow further and bring our values and service into line with the demands of our clients around the world. I am excited to be part of this great team.”

Managing director Ringo Fan adds: “Jessica’s track record and experience are second to none and we are thrilled to have her on board. Her strong industry knowledge and experience is vital as we continue our ambitious plans for global growth so as to facilitate our clients' increasingly international travel requirements.”

Founded in 2013, Apertus Aviation has representatives across a number of locations so as to marry global knowledge with local reach. Fan goes on to say: “This is evidence that Apertus is aggressively recruiting the right people in all regions of the world. Our global presence allows us to provide consistent charter service with the backing of local knowledge.”
