LunaJets powers land-based transportation
No one should suffer from the lack of mobility, and by continuing its support for World Bicycle Relief LunaJets is hoping to empower the inhabitants of the developing world’s rural areas through better modes of travel.

Swiss booking platform LunaJets has renewed its support to World Bicycle Relief (WBR), a humanitarian organisation that aims to change the lives of the inhabitants of the developing world’s rural areas through the provision of Buffalo Bicycles as a sustainable and reliable means of transport.

LunaJets is supporting WBR for the second year in a row, choosing to contribute to a project that allows those in need to be mobile because it believes in the value mobility and travel bring to people's lives. LunaJets may specialise in private aviation services but it appreciates how all modes of transportation allow people to save time, to be free, to reach their destination and accomplish more than they could ever do if they had to remain static.

In total, WBR has distributed over 390,000 Buffalo Bicycles over the last 10 years. In 2017, 54,687 bikes were deployed and helped change 273,435 lives by lifting the barrier of distance and bringing education, healthcare and new development opportunities within reach of the developing world's rural populations.

As part of its corporate social responsibility programme, LunaJets is donating a percentage of its profit to this initiative. It is WBR’s only partner within the private aviation industry so far but hopes to inspire others to participate in the World Bicycle Relief’s efforts to turn the world into a better place for all.
