Alsim makes sales to Greece and South Africa
Greece-based Egnatia Aviation has invested two million euros in six brand new Alsim simulators, two of which are new Airliners, and South Africa's Aviation Pilot Training gets one AL250.
With the latest sale to Aviation Pilot Training, Alsim now has five customers based in South Africa. The company has also received a six unit order from Egnatia Aviation in Greece.

Alsim has received an order of six simulators comprising four AL250s and two cutting-edge Airliners from Greek pilot academy Egnatia Aviation. The first AL250 was installed in October and is to be followed by three AL250s and the first Airliner in 2019. The final Airliner will join Egnatia's simulator fleet in 2020.

The AL250 is EASA-FNPT II (Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer) certified. It addresses initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is SEP/MEP re-configurable. In addition, it offers classic and glass cockpit instrumentation for each flight model at the simple flick of a switch.

Egnatia Aviation director Dimitris Lymperakis says: “I am delighted to announce the purchase of six new Alsim simulators. We chose Alsim because the top quality training we offer requires state-of-the-art equipment, as well as unique operational support, in order to maintain a sustainable and continuously demanding schedule. The AL250 is a proven training device for the initial stage of the commercial licence, however the Airliner will boost our capacity and capability. We trust Alsim products and we recognise them as the top training devices in the market for this purpose. For this reason we believe that the best should work with the best in order to obtain the ultimate results.”

Alsim co-founder and CEO Jean-Paul Monnin adds: “It's a great pleasure to continue our collaboration with Egnatia, which has already operated for 10 years since its purchase of the then newly-released ALX. We congratulate Egnatia on this exciting expansion, which is equally rewarding for us.”

Alsim has also sold an AL250 to South African flight school Aviation Pilot Training. The device will be delivered in the first quarter of 2019. Aviation Pilot Training director Ari Kraak says: “After researching most simulators worldwide we found that this is the perfect device for our facility. The service from Alsim and its willingness to adapt the product to our needs was second to none. It's a clean state-of-the-art device that will attract clients from all parts of the world. We are looking forward to receiving the product and to a great long-term relationship with Alsim.”
