Geneva Airpark brings indoor GPS to hangar
Geneva Airpark is continuing to invest in new equipment which will not only mean increased comfort and safety but will also save time.
With Geneva Airpark’s dual GNSS system, navigation equipment verification and testing may now quickly, safely and comfortably be carried out indoors.

Swiss business jet parking provider Geneva Airpark has equipped its 10,000 sqm hangar with a dual GNSS system designed by British GPS repeater technology company FalTech. The equipment is compatible with GPS L1: 1575 MHz, Glonass (Russia) and Galiléo (Europe) systems. These devices eliminate glare and may be immediately aligned.

With the dual installation, Geneva Airpark can now provide coverage to its entire hangar, enabling navigation equipment verification and testing to be safely and comfortably carried out indoors, and saving pilots precious time.

The GNSS initiative came about following the launch of its 'Quality Observatory' online questionnaire earlier in the year. As well as enabling the company to monitor customer satisfaction levels, it also helps the company keep its team informed of the latest innovations and any expansion in the services its offers.
