Bombardier hosts annual awards for the great and the good
ASF Excellence Awards are presented to those of Bombardier's service facilities delivering best performance. Celebrations were in order for ExecuJet Middle East, TAG Aviation, Duncan Aviation and Aero-Dienst.

Bombardier's annual ASF Excellence Awards are, according to vice president of aftermarket sales and commercial strategy Bill Molloy, a recognition of its authorised facilities’ commitment to serving operators of Bombardier business aircraft in support of the goal of maximising the efficiency of customers’ operations.

This year ExecuJet Middle East was named both overall and international winner, marking its eighth consecutive win since 2011. Luxaviation Group executive vice president MRO services Graeme Duckworth says: “Winning this award becomes more special every year as it is a true reflection of the hard work, commitment and dedication of our teams. This is the sixth Bombardier international and the third overall ASF Excellence Award win for ExecuJet in the Middle East and we are very proud to be recognised by the Bombardier team.” ExecuJet Middle East maintenance director Nick Weber adds: “The Middle East is a key region for us, with roughly 20 per cent of the Luxaviation Group's overall business stemming from it. It is therefore essential that our facilities reflect this demand, and it brings me great pleasure to accept this award on behalf of the team in the Middle East.”

The award for line maintenance went to TAG Aviation's Maintenance Services Centre at Le Bourget airport in Paris, France, for a fourth consecutive year. TAG Aviation Europe president maintenance and FBO services Franck Madignier says: “We are proud and delighted that our line maintenance facility at Paris Le Bourget has again received this industry recognition, which is testament to our hardworking on-site maintenance team and high levels of customer service. TAG Le Bourget is a key maintenance centre within our network at one of the most popular airports for business aviation in Europe.”

Nebraska, US MRO Duncan Aviation was named North American winner. “We have more than 200 dedicated Bombardier product team members with an average of 14 years of experience at Duncan Aviation,” says chairman emeritus J Robert Duncan. “Our team members are the reason Duncan Aviation is successful. We are proud of the services they provide and appreciative of the great support we receive from Bombardier.”

Nuremberg maintenance, operations, sales and management company Aero-Dienst won best service facility in the Europe category for the fourth time running, and for the fifth time altogether. “In the year of our 60th anniversary this award represents an especially gratifying confirmation of our employees' hard work,” says head of maintenance André Ebach. “Because at the end of the day, they are the ones at the cutting edge whose flexible and dedicated commitment enables Bombardier customers to achieve even more operational efficiency and safety.”
