HeliGroup first in region to operate Helionix H135
HeliGroup's fleet already includes an AS355NP that was delivered last year, and an H135 with Helionix suite will boost capacity. It can carry up to six passengers in comfort from Wycombe to all of the major London hubs.

UK rotary operator HeliGroup's recently-delivered H135 Helionix aircraft has entered service from its base at Wycombe Air Park. The twin engine helicopter will serve the high-end charter market, and key corporate jet airports around London such as Luton, Stansted, Oxford, Biggin Hill and Farnborough are all within range.

The H135 includes a Helionix suite and cream leather interior with carbon fibre trim, and is powered by Pratt & Whitney PW206B3 engines. It can accommodate up to six passengers and is equipped with a sizeable baggage bay.

HeliGroup is the first operator to make the type with Helionix available to charter customers. The suite provides a generational improvement to avionics, offering improved situational awareness, simpler flight management controls and higher safety levels. Helionix features a fully-integrated glass cockpit using three large displays with full interchangeability, a four-axis automatic flight control system with unique flight envelope protection and other features including auto-hover and LPV functionality.

The aircraft joins an Airbus AS355NP that was delivered straight from the factory in the summer of 2017.

A handover ceremony for the H135 was held at the recent Monaco Yacht Show, with the Red Arrows aerobatic team as guests of honour. The aircraft will also be available through the HeliGroup Charter Club, which offers cost-effective access for frequent fliers.

HeliGroup is active in charter, sales and leasing and is the exclusive distributor of Guimbal light helicopters across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Through an investment in ATS Aero, the company also has interests in fixed wing aircraft and is an authorised service centre for Cessna. ATS Aero holds CAA/EASA maintenance approvals including Part 145 and Part M sub-parts G and I.
