Melbourne Jet Base opens $100 million facility
Paul Little has applied the same attention to detail to a luxury business aviation facility in Melbourne as he has to the restoration of a classic 80-year-old Douglas Dakota. The result is impressive.
Besides its own dedicated hangar Melbourne Jet Base features lounge and dining areas, personal suites and secure meeting rooms, along with office space and rest rooms for crew.

Prominent Australian businessman Paul Little AO has opened the doors to Melbourne Jet Base, his exclusive private jet terminal at Melbourne International airport, and reckons to have created a unique new gateway to Australia.

With growing global demand for private and charter jet services, Little saw the opportunity to create the ultimate facility for private travel in Australia and began construction on Melbourne Jet Base in 2016. The now finished $100 million private jet terminal is set to be the destination of choice for a variety of VIP travellers, from industry-leading business people to celebrities and dignitaries.

Specifically designed to attract private jets and charter flights, Melbourne Jet Base will increase safety and flexibility, with global travellers able to arrive or depart via Melbourne's curfew-free international airport 24/7.

“By providing a destination that facilitates private aviation travel in such an exceptional way, we hope to see an influx in global VIPs visiting Australia to experience all we have to offer,” Little says.

In addition to attracting new visitors to Victoria, Melbourne Jet Base has received strong support from the Victorian Government for stimulating the economy with the creation of over 300 jobs in the precinct.

Complementing a world class travel experience, Melbourne Jet Base offers its customers security and confidentiality, together with a quick and efficient passage through in-house customs and quarantine. Additionally helicopter transfers, private limousines plus passenger and crew recovery zones all provide a key point of difference.
