London Southend-based Jota Aviation has appointed Jeff Fieldhouse as safety and compliance manager.

Fieldhouse has spent eight years at Baines Simmons and is experienced in Part 145, M, 147 and 66 engineering regulatory requirements from EASA, the FAA and ICAO.

"Having worked closely with performance based regulations for a number of years, I am really looking forward to this exciting challenge," he says. "The opportunity to evolve and apply the management system approach at Jota fits hand-in-hand with its current growth strategy and will provide a clear demonstration of safety for client, regulator and management."

CEO Andy Green adds: "Jeff brings a wealth of experience with him and we are thrilled that he is joining the team. Through his thorough knowledge and background within the safety and compliance management area he will deliver an ever-improving management system and safety culture across the whole company. We look forward to the operational benefits this will bring."
