SEA Prime hopes Malpensa can mirror Linate success

SEA Prime, which handles the business aviation activities of Milan Linate and Milan Malpensa airports, indicates that business aviation in the region has enjoyed a positive trend over the last year. Milan Linate registered more than 21,000 movements in 2017, up 2.7 per cent on the previous year, leading the way for private jet traffic in Italy.

SEA Prime has handled 27,000 movements this year, an impressive return. It is making several improvements to its infrastructure, including a reduction of energy consumption in the hangar and a larger apron at Linate.

Lilium, SEA and Skyports aim to launch a vertiport network with operators of the Lilium Jet as soon as 2027. The companies will develop regional air mobility routes that serve key locations across Lombardy.
