Jet Aviation Basel has received EASA supplemental type certification (STC) for Ka-band system integration on a Boeing 747-400. The company is also working on satcom swift broadband and live television systems installations. It recently demonstrated compliance with EASA bird strike requirements on the Rockwell Collins live TV radome.

"We welcome innovation that brings new technologies and choice to our customers," says chief engineer Laurent Grahn. "High speed internet connectivity is at the top of most customer wishlists and we are very pleased to help meet these requirements."

Jet Aviation has also completed its acquisition of Hawker Pacific, a provider of MRO, fleet and FBO services and aircraft sales across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. The transaction is valued at $250 million. It will add 19 locations across Asia Pacific and the Middle East to its global network, including seven FBOs, 14 MRO facilities and more than 400,000 sq ft of hangar space.
