Air Seychelles names Althuis to succeed Kinnear as CEO
Air Seychelles, which operates a fleet of Twin Otters for inter island charters in addition to its schedued airline duties, has appointed Remco Althuis as interim CEO.

Air Seychelles, which operates a fleet of Twin Otters for inter island charters in addition to its schedued airline duties, has appointed Remco Althuis as interim CEO. He succeeds Roy Kinnear and joins from Etihad Airways, where he held the position of regional general manager, Europe. He also held prior roles with KLM.

Chairman Jean Weeling-Lee says: “Remco is a highly talented executive with a wealth of experience in aviation and a proven track record in leadership roles. His extensive skillset will be crucial to ensuring that we continue to develop to achieve sustainable profitability.

“I would like to extend our thanks to Roy, who has made an enormous contribution in developing the business.”

Althuis adds: “With the support of the shareholders, I look forward to driving the strategic development of the business. I am confident that we'll continue to enhance the business and spread the Creole spirit.”
