Danish operator Air Alsie has signed an exclusive contract with Satcom Direct for the provision of connectivity solutions for its mixed fleet, which includes Hawker, Citation, ATR, Gulfstream and Falcon types. SD will provide cabin voice and data services as well as flight deck communication. Air Alsie also plans to install Inmarsat's Ka-band Jet ConneX as part of the contract.

“Our mixed fleet necessitates partnering with a company that can create and adapt its product range to fulfil our diverse connectivity requirements, from the smallest to the largest of our jets, worldwide,” says charter sales manager Tom Carstensen. “This is why we have chosen SD as our preferred provider.”

Air Alsie was founded in 1988 and offers charter, management and air ambulance services. Headquartered at Sonderborg airport, it also positions aircraft in Copenhagen, Zurich, Nice, Moscow, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.
