RVS to fly HEMS Ansat leased by State Transport
RVS company, provider of air medical services in the Volgograd region of Russia, will shortly receive the first of six Ansat medevac helicopters from Russian Helicopters.

RVS company, provider of air medical services in the Volgograd region of Russia, will shortly receive the first of six Ansat medevac helicopters from Russian Helicopters. The aircraft are being leased by State Transport Leading Company as part of a contract signed at the end of 2016 which also includes 10 Mi-8NTV-1 helicopters and 13 Mi-8AMT helicopters. All aircraft are due to be delivered by the end of this year.

They will be used to implement emergency medical responses in hard-to-access areas of the region.

A light twin-engine helicopter with a hydro-mechanical flight control system, the Ansat was cleared for a medical module installation in May 2015. According to the manufacturer, it can be converted into cargo or seven passenger configuration in less than one hour.
