Following the success of this year's Wings of Business Awards which took place in Moscow on 17 February, Russian United Business Aviation Association VP and organiser of the awards Mikhail Titov is already planning next year's event. “I have been working in this field for more than 20 years and over the years I have seen Russia's business aviation work its way up to become one of the most progressive industries in the country,” he says.

“I am very pleased with how the ceremony turned out, and feedback from guests and nominees has been excellent. Many of our overseas guests from well-known European companies said that we had surpassed expectations. We are determined to become a key event in the calendar.”

One of the Titov's challenges is to find the right sponsors but he believes this will be straightforward. “I think that RUBAA will enhance the voting procedure and expand the list of categories in order to attract more international participants.”

Award winners included RusJet (Russian operator), Jet Story (foreign operator), Luxaviation (aircraft management), Vnukovo 3 (FBO), Sukhoi (manufacturer), ABS Jets (maintenance), RusAero (flight support), Your Charter (broker), Sky Food Vnukovo (service company), Jet Friends Club (project of the year), Streamline (legendary company) and Igor Mudrik (legendary person).
