TAG Aviation's UK operation has had its IS-BAO Stage 3 status renewed by IBAC. Stage 3 is the highest level to be awarded to aircraft operators and renewal follows on from the company's Wyvern Wingman approval which was awarded last summer.

The IS-BAO code of best practices requires flight departments to analyse the processes involved in day-to-day operations and provides managers with tools to foster an environment where safety, efficiency and a commitment to continuous improvement are integrated into all operations. Only operators that independently choose to participate in these third party guidelines are audited and eligible to receive IS-BAO.

“Safety is one of the core values of TAG Aviation and the entire team has worked very hard to renew this distinguished accreditation for a further three years,” states head of compliance and safety Patricia Davis. “Maintaining the highest level of IS-BAO accreditation reassures our customers that our safety management activities are fully integrated into our business and that a positive safety culture is in place.”
