French operator Heli-Union has taken delivery of its first AW139 helicopter from Lease Corporation International (LCI). The aircraft will be leased in order to support the operator's growing presence in Asia.
President and CEO Patrick Molis comments: “It is fitting that we are working on fleet strategy, developing a leasing solution for the first time, to take advantage of the growth potential of the south east Asia region. We are delighted to be working with LCI, and the company has been highly responsive and extremely supportive to our requirements. We look forward to further developing our relationship over the coming years.”
Founded in 1961, Heli-Union operates more than 40 helicopters worldwide, including EC225, AW139, AS365 N3 and S76C++ types. Specialising in oil and gas transportation, it carries out onshore and offshore work, maintenance and training for civil and government organisations.
