Corail becomes launch customer for Airbus Helicopters' Fleet Keeper

Corail Helicopters, an operator of a fleet of seven Airbus Helicopters based in Réunion off the east coast of Africa, has become the launch customer of Fleet Keeper. Developed by Airbus Helicopters as part of its HCare connected services offering, Fleet Keeper has recently been validated by the French authority DGAC for use within the OEM's airworthiness organisation.

The technology is a mobile and web application that replaces a traditional paper-based technical logbook. It allows pilots, air-worthiness managers and mechanics to record flight reports, track technical events and transfer data. Compatible with the whole Airbus Helicopters range as well as other types, Fleet Keeper records technical data into a secure cloud-based database that is accessible by tablets or PCs.

“We are thrilled to be the first to use the Fleet Keeper application,” says Corail general manager Fabrice Lourme. “We believe this tool matches our fleet requirements and will enhance our daily activities by bringing our operations into the digital age.”

Established in 2003, Corail Helicopters was the first French customer to order the H130 fitted with aerial work mission equipment.
