Finnish Polar Aviation is planning to support the entry into service of Dassault's Falcon 8X in the coming weeks by retraining personnel. “We feel it is important to keep track of and participate in bringing new products and technologies to market and then to support them in operation,” says sales and customer relations manager Heikki Heinonen. “To that end we are also taking part in the Falcon 5X project by being a member of the Industry Steering Committee.” The Finnish CAA has approved Polar's application for line maintenance status on B737-600/700/800 and 900. The company is able to perform 48-month inspections on the AW139.
